Here is my comprehensive resource on the social context of the film 'Remember the Titans.' This is excellent for revision, study or structuring introductory lessons around. there are 23 slides focusing on the positive progress towards equality in the 90s and the negative remnants of racism that created increased racial tensions during this period. I have used it with year 11 before and was pleased with the outcome. It was great for kids to be able to return to this in their own time as they constructed their essay responses (connecting themes to context). This would serve as an excellent stimulus to provoke class discussions, and it has activities included on the slides. Recommended for teachers, tutors, home school parents and students.
